Thanks to your generosity, we have been able to save four puppies and several adult dogs from desperate circumstances this month, with more due to arrive in the following days and weeks.
The four puppies featured in our original videos, facing a death sentence in their Romanian shelter, captured many of your hearts, so we thought we'd give you a little update. They have all been thriving in their foster homes and have come so far in such a short amount of time!
Fosterers provide an essential stepping stone for dogs like these, allowing them to gradually adjust to the home environment, recover from malnourishment and anxieties and learn how to be a companion so that they are ready to be adopted by their forever families. Two of our puppy fosterers are fortunate to live nearby, so three of the puppies, Zara, Aria and Kobe, had a little reunion in the sunshine. Zelda, fostered a little further away (and described as a perfect puppy by her lovely fosterer) also flourished in her fabulous foster home!
