Hello, allow me to introduce myself…
My name is Pluto and, as you can see from my photos, I am a super handsome Litse Hound. Just look at my spotty coat – very distinctive, don’t you think. Everybody stops to look at me and lots of people want to know more about me because I am so unusual.
I am 18-months-old and was born in Cyprus where I would have been used by hunters as a tracking dog if I hadn’t been abandoned when I was only 2 months old. I have been living with my current family in the UK for just over a year but they are struggling to give me the time and exercise I need. My energy levels are high and I am still growing out of my puppy stage. I want to play all the time, but my step-brothers and sisters don’t, especially the oldest. I keep trying to get them to join in my fun and they get fed up of me.
Now, I will admit that when I was younger I chewed a lot of things and demolished bits of the house. You will be pleased to know that I have grown out of that and only chew my toys now. You will also be pleased to hear that I am 100 percent house trained, amazing with all people, children of all ages, cats and other dogs – I’m an all-round good egg who just loves everybody!
I am in perfect health, though maybe just a little chubby (not fat, you understand) due to not getting enough exercise. I have all my vaccinations and have been neutered. I walk well on the lead (I sometimes pull if I am excited) but, being a hound, I can’t be trusted off the lead in case I smell a rabbit or squirrel or anything I can chase.
My current family describe me as being ‘full on’ and ‘high-octane‘, which is fair enough because I am, after all, a young boy with a great zest for life. They also say that I am a “super, sweet natured dog” - I can’t argue with that. They love me but they want the best for me, i.e. an awesome family who can give me lots of exercise time.
Now then, what am I looking for in a family? Well, I would like people who will walk me at least twice a day (the longer the walk the better). A home with quite a big, secure garden would be lovely so that I can race round in between my walks.
I love to be in the thick of things rather than on my own, so ideally my new people will be at home most of the time and/or have another lively dog for me to play with (and who enjoys playing). Really I am looking for a home where I can have more fun.
How can my character and personality be best summed up? Well, how about ‘Pluto is truly one in a million - he is lovely, affectionate, mischievous, and playful. He is the epitome of mischief with a larger-than-life personality. Anyone looking for a lively, loving, crazy dog should look no further than Pluto. He will be your best companion and make you laugh. He will bring lost of love and joy (possibly mixed with a little frustration) to any family’.

Pluto would probably excel at canicross, agility, man trailing etc as he has lots of energy and is very smart!

Pluto travelled with all vaccinations, microchip and passport.
